Pre-owned Rolex watches — bought, sold and serviced

The most liquid watch market in the world — and the one where overpaying is easiest.

Rolex pre-owned pricing moved north through 2026, particularly steel Datejust and Submariner references, where dealer cost now sits close to what retail asked two years ago. Buying pre-owned still beats waitlists on almost every sports reference, but only when the example is honest: unpolished lugs, matching serial, original bracelet stretch within tolerance.

Selling a Rolex

Full set with card and receipt carries the strongest premium of any brand we handle. Service history from an authorised centre or a documented independent bench matters nearly as much; an over-polished case is the single biggest deduction we apply.

Servicing a Rolex

We pressure-test every Oyster case we sell, replace gaskets as standard, and photograph the movement before and after. Rolex calibres are five-to-ten-year service intervals in practice, not the marketing figure.

Rolex buying questions, answered

How much does a pre-owned Rolex cost?
Across the 8 Rolex references we track, well-kept examples with box and papers run from roughly $8,100 – $11,300 for the Oyster Perpetual 41 up to $34,600 – $45,400 for the Daytona. Those are indicative retail ranges for the current market — we confirm an exact number against condition, set and dial variant before you buy.
Which Rolex references do you stock?
We currently have 8 Rolex watches listed and ready to ship, and we source anything else on request — Submariner Date (126610LN), GMT-Master II 'Batman' (126710BLNR), Daytona (126500LN) are the references we place most often. Anything not in hand typically lands in 3–10 days.
Is buying a pre-owned Rolex safe?
Every Rolex we sell is authenticated in-house before it is listed: movement inspection, case and dial verification against factory specification, pressure testing where the case is rated for it, and a photographic condition report you receive with the watch. It ships with our written warranty and a 14-day return window.
Will you buy my Rolex?
Yes — outright, as a trade-in against something in our inventory, or on consignment. Full set with card and receipt carries the strongest premium of any brand we handle. Service history from an authorised centre or a documented independent bench matters nearly as much; an over-polished case is the single biggest deduction we apply. Send the reference, condition notes and a few photographs and you will usually have a real number the same day.
Can you service a Rolex I already own?
We pressure-test every Oyster case we sell, replace gaskets as standard, and photograph the movement before and after. Rolex calibres are five-to-ten-year service intervals in practice, not the marketing figure. You do not have to have bought the watch from us.
How long does sourcing a Rolex take?
3–10 days for the references we see regularly. Rarer dials, precious metal and discontinued configurations take longer — we tell you honestly at the quote stage rather than after you have paid a deposit.
Is a pre-owned Rolex cheaper than retail?
On dress and Datejust references, frequently yes. On steel professional models — Daytona, GMT-Master II, Submariner — the pre-owned market still trades above list because retail supply is allocated. We quote against real transacted prices, not list.
Do you sell certified pre-owned Rolex?
We are not an authorised dealer, so we cannot issue Rolex's own CPO card. Every Rolex we sell is authenticated in-house, pressure-tested, and carries our own written warranty — which in practice covers the same failures.
